its those cheap cameras that are the best sometimes. (unless its digital and then the analogy stops)

My favorite memory about photography was watching one of the "SI Swimsuit video" documentaries when I was a teenager (I wasn't watching to learn about taking photos, i just liked the, uh, scenery.) Anyways, there are all these photographers with all these really expensive cameras, and this one older guy with a little point and shoot. Not even appearing to be a zoom camera, just a crappy little P/S. They zoom in on him, and he explains that he has taken pictures for many years and has done many for SI. His vision began to go, so he couldn't manually focus anymore, or even know if his shots were in focus to begin with, so he switched to the little camera that is always in focus. He had the experience to know how the body should flow in the viewfinder, and how to deal with parallax, and he was still taking shots that were making it into the issue. All with a camera that was probably worth less the the other photographers stock of spare flash batteries.
